What You’ll Learn

  • Single-day robotics events are designed to ignite a passion for robotics and technology in students.

  • Participants will engage in building Lego-like robots equipped with motors and a brain, fostering creativity and mechanical skills. Following the construction phase, students will have the opportunity to compete in an exciting game of freeze-tag using their newly created robots.

  • Throughout the event, students will learn about various types of wheels and drivetrains, gaining foundational knowledge in robotics.

  • Events typically last between 3 to 4 hours and do not require any prior programming experience, making it accessible for all participants. Ideally, sessions can be structured as one 4-hour block or two 2-hour blocks.

  • Recommended age groups include students aged 7-11 years and those aged 12 years and older, with tailored kits available for each age range.

  • The cost for participation is $50 per student for ages 7-11, and $60 per student for ages 12+.
